Eating only chicken breasts and broccoli is a pretty drastic move, is the lack of variety unhealthy?

Variety is good, but chicken breasts and broccoli is essentially all you need. Simplicity will help you stick to the diet. It will minimize the amount of work and confusion that comes with varying your meals which will then reduce error and ensure you get fast results. Broccoli is one of the most nutritious vegetables out there and by eating 6 cups of it every day, pairing it with chicken breasts, and filling the gaps with multivitamins, you will be getting the nutrition you need. You’ll also likely be eating healthier than you were before you started this diet.

In addition, you will feel thirsty. Drink lots of water. As a reference, I drank roughly 3 liters of water per day.

The first table below is an example listing my meals on a rest day (no workout) while I weighed 143lbs. The second table lists the total vitamins and minerals consumed in one column (green) and how much of the vitamins and minerals come from supplements in another column (yellow). The gaps that are filled by vitamin supplements to achieve 100% of the suggested daily value are: Vitamin B12 (73%), D (100%), E (23%), Thiamin (41%), Calcium (22%), Iron (33%), Magnesium (20%), Zinc (44%), Copper (67%). The only remaining deficit in this table is sodium, so be sure to add salt to your food.
